    Location: Richmond, Virginia

    1-year contract, likely to extend

    Full Time Position (40 hours/week)

    Hybrid (2 days in office a week)

    Responsibilities:

    • Coordinate field services and transportation logistics for a variety of wastes and materials, including hazardous, non-hazardous, universal, PCB, and recyclable materials.
    • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as RCRA, DOT, and TSCA, and oversee adherence to federal, state, and local environmental standards.
    • Promote corporate environmental policies by educating and supporting employees in implementing innovative practices for environmental compliance and sustainability.
    • Interpret and apply new and existing environmental regulations, providing guidance to ensure company programs and projects meet regulatory requirements.
    • Utilize electronic databases to analyze and monitor company compliance with environmental regulations.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Qualifications:

    • Proficient understanding of Federal and State waste and transportation regulations (RCRA, TSCA, DOT) to effectively manage off-site transportation and disposal operations.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
    • Logical reasoning abilities to assess alternatives, conclusions, or approaches.
    • Demonstrated ability to actively listen, understand, and engage with others, asking pertinent questions as needed.
    • Capability to influence and collaborate with others to solve problems and foster open idea exchange.
    • Aptitude for identifying and addressing complex problems, developing and evaluating solutions.
    • Adaptability to changing circumstances.
    • Maintain professionalism while delivering high-quality environmental services to customers.

    Education and Certifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Engineering, or related field preferred. Equivalent combination of education and relevant experience will also be considered.
    • Certifications or licensures related to environmental compliance are preferred
