    Superintendent with Structural Experience (Industrial/Distribution Center Experience)

    Our client urgently requires a Superintendent with a proven track record in managing a structural self-perform workforce on hospitality and/or large multi-family projects.

    The ideal candidate will be responsible for the following:

    • Overseeing and coordinating the activities of our self-perform crew on hospitality and/or multi-family projects to ensure the construction processes are executed in a timely, safe, and cost-effective manner.
    • Taking charge of planning and field execution of project structure in coordination with the Senior Project Superintendent, Project Manager, and Project Engineer.
    • Coordinating the day-to-day scheduling, production, and procurement of materials, manpower, and equipment for the structural work on the project.
    • Ensure compliance with safety management program, environmental requirements and quality standards.
    • Effectively representing our client company when interfacing with project stakeholders, owners, and design team.

    Job Requirements:

    • Associates degree or equivalent years of technical training preferred
    • Ten (10) years experience working on commercial building projects with hospitality and large multi-family project experience preferred
    • Four (4) years construction experience working for a self-perform general contractor or concrete contractor in a supervisory capacity
    • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage field supervisors, craft employees, and subcontractors.
    • Experience in all aspects of concrete and foundation work including post-tension slab
    • Well-rounded knowledge in all aspects of construction, but in-depth expertise in commercial buildings, craft activities, cost control, scheduling, and safety required
    • Proficient in technology project management software applications such as Primavera P6 and BIM 360
    • Physical demands include occasionally lifting up to 50lbs
    • Employee will occasionally come into contact with air contamination such as dust, fumes, and smoke.
    • Thorough knowledge of OSHA standards and adheres to all safety regulations and procedures.
