    **Multi-Line Claim Adjuster Trainee**

    Merchants Insurance Group is a leading Property and Casualty Insurer in the Northeast and is looking for a **Multi-Line Claim Adjuster Trainee** for our Bedford, New Hampshire regional office.

    The safety of our colleagues, both current and future, is Merchants Insurance Groups highest priority. At this time, most of our colleagues are working remotely due to the current COVID-19 pandemic. The candidate selected for this position will be trained remotely and must be able to work from home in a designated work area until such time as it is determined that colleagues will return to the office.

    The Multi-Line Claim Adjuster Trainee will become part of a dedicated claims team focusing on the skills necessary to perform the timely investigation, evaluation and equitable settlement of all assigned commercial auto and general liability claims. This position interacts extensively with home office technical managers, internal colleagues as well as policyholders, agents, attorneys, and a multitude of claim-related service providers.

    **Essential Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:**

    Cultivating relationships with claims and other internal staff, policyholders, attorneys, agents and a variety of service providers and experts all while working towards achieving the most optimal outcomes for Merchants and our policyholders.

    The Multi-Line Claim Adjuster Trainee will take assignments and coursework to accomplish goals of developing knowledge of policies, coverage law and regulations to advance to the role of a Multi-Line Claim Adjuster.

    Learn and develop the skills necessary to provide quality customer service by means of timely first contact, communication of expectations to customers and the timely responsiveness and disposition of claims.

    **Qualifications & Skills:**

    Qualified candidates will have a 4 year degree or equivalent work related experience.

    Excellent verbal and written communication, and computer skills are required.
