    Job DescriptionMinimum 1+ years occupational therapy experience required.

    As a School-Based Occupational Therapist Assistant, you will play a crucial role in promoting students' independence and participation in their educational environment. Your expertise and dedication will contribute to creating an inclusive and supportive learning environment for students with diverse needs.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelors degree in Occupational Therapy
    • California State licensure
    • School experience is preferred but not required

    Responsibilities:

    • Assist the Occupational Therapist in conducting assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
    • Work with individual students or small groups to implement therapy interventions and activities designed to improve motor skills, coordination, and sensory processing.
    • Collaborate with teachers to integrate therapy goals and strategies into the classroom environment.
    • municate regularly with parents to provide updates on students' progress and collaborate on home-based interventions.
    • Maintain accurate documentation of therapy sessions, progress reports, and student goals.
