    Position Overview

    The Registered Sales Assistant performs a wide variety of administrative and sales support duties for the Financial Advisor of FB Financial Services (FBFS). The position entails heavy phones, customer contact and other support functions for the Financial Advisor of FBFS. Deals with confidential and sensitive documentation regarding customer investment accounts and commissions payable. Interacts with bank staff, various personnel from the Broker Dealer, annuity and mutual fund vendors. Handles questions and paperwork from the Financial Advisor. Prepares various reports for the Financial Advisor.

    Role and Responsibilities

    • Answer phone in a friendly, professional manner
    • Handle routine maintenance and service requests
    • Follow through on routine research requests
    • Proactively follow up on account and asset transfers
    • Maintain a tickler system for future client contact and follow-up
    • Prepare and send necessary client and account service correspondence
    • Proactively call all new clients and introduce yourself / communicate support function
    • Maintain Financial Advisor's appointment schedule from Financial Advisor instruction and client requests
    • Call next day's appointments and confirm meeting time, place and agenda
    • Become proficient in the development and scheduling of client seminars and events
    • Assist with all logistical and communication processes for client appreciation and education events
    • General account maintenance

    Minimum Qualifications

    • Must have or obtain NASD series 7 and 66 securities license within 120 days
    • Must have or obtain a state life and health insurance license within 120 days
    • Two or more years of previous experience within the financial services industry
    • Two years of college or related experience
    • Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook and Internet Explorer
    • Willingness to be flexible
