    Construction Safety Manager - ( SOU0002DF ) **Your Impact:**

We are looking for a passionate and curious Construction Safety Manager to provide leadership and support our Tampa, FL team.

    **Key Responsibilities:**

    Act as an advisor to HCAA for coordination, implementation, and oversight of HCAAs Construction Safety and Security Guidelines Manual by the Design Builders and Contractors

    Provide administrative liaison and coordination with HCAA Risk Management on matters pertaining to the Safety Program

    Monitor the project safety management process with regards to effective implementation of loss prevention activities and contractor adherence to contractual requirements

    Assist in the investigation of incidents involving loss or near-miss. Communicate with client and project management regarding these matters and make recommendations for improvement as appropriate

    Assist in the coordination of resources to support project safety training efforts

    Assist HCAA in monitoring such measures as employee badging, access control, and perimeter security.

    Monitor Design Builders maintenance of a database of employees on site and review reports of employee safety training and incidents as needed

    Provide assistance and technical advice to HCAA/Jacobs project staff in an effort to achieve an effective safety program

    Track safety performance metrics on a monthly basis and document site activities, incident information, and safety metrics to the client monthly report

    Attend the Contractor preconstruction kick-off meetings to discuss overall safety requirements of the Contractor as it relates to HCAAs safety program

    Be available to HCAA/Jacobs project staff on an on-call basis to provide technical assistance and consultation related to observed contractor safety issues

    In the event of accidents or incidents, participate on an as-needed basis in the investigation and review of contractors subsequent report to assist in identifying root causes and lessons learned

    Walk the active construction projects on a regular basis with the respective inspectors/construction coordinators to observe general safety conditions & practices and make recommendations as appropriate to improve safety.

    **Here's What You'll Need:**

    Professional HSE certification and/or bachelors degree in safety, industrial hygiene, engineering or related field

    A minimum of 8 years of demonstrated professional experience in a similar leadership role in managing Construction Health and Safety, including up to 3 HSE staff direct reports

    Working knowledge in applicable regulatory compliance, as well as all federal, state and local agencies requirements
