    Role and Responsibilities

    • Assists manager to oversee the operation of the restaurant by focusing on quality food and service
    • Enforce policies and ensure employees are working the Burgermaster way as defined by Managers and Corporate
    • Responsible for running the line and ensuring employees get their required breaks and mealtimes
    • Assist with food costs by reducing or eliminating waste and knowing when to place other business priorities above food cost
    • Assist with labor cost by ensuring employees on the clock are working, and ensuring the proper amount of employees are working
    • Assist with prep work and cleaning, including checklists
    • Reports issues of attitude, behavior, and attendance, ensuring situations are recorded following the incident reporting process and/or brought to Manager's attention
    • Coordinate which station each team member is assigned to for the shift
    • Act as center of communication for the kitchen
    • Attends Supervisor trainings as required
    • Other duties as assigned

    Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Strong supervisory and leadership skills.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills with a focus on customer service.
    • Excellent time management skills.
    • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
    • Familiarity with food handling, safety, and other restaurant guidelines.
    • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
    • Strong oral and written communication, Spanish language a plus.

    Education and Experience

    • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
    • Previous restaurant experience required; management experience preferred.
    • Successful completion of corporate training program required.
    • Food handler's permit required within 7 days of hire.

    Work Environment

    • Ability to traverse all parts of the restaurant quickly.
    • Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
    • Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
    • Time divided between desk work, working in restaurant, and meetings.
    • Must be comfortable working long hours, including nights and weekends.

    $22 - $26 per hour
