    Description
    *Title: Software Engineer

    *Location: Foster City, California, 94404

    *Duration: 6 months

    *Job Description:


    • Client is looking for a Software Engineer contractor to help build our design system and common component library.
    • The design system is critical to the efficiency and consistency of our internal operations.
    • It ensures that design and engineering speak the same language over UI design, that engineers have a productive component framework to build internal web applications, and operation teams have a consistent experience across all the internal tools.
    • You will work closely with designers, application engineers, and QA engineers to lay down the infrastructure of the design system and create common components.

    Responsibilities:

    • Build infrastructure and framework for Client design system around MUI
    • Build common components with React, HTML & CSS
    • Create and improve the testing and release process of the design system and common components
    • Collaborate with engineers, product managers, and designers to define and iterate on great solutions to their product needs

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in an engineering, mathematics, or related field
    • Expert developer experience with TypeScript and Node.
    JS (4+ Years of Experience)

    • Expertise in React and common component development
    • Extensive experience working with Storybook and MUI components
    *Bonus Qualifications:


    • Experience creating/working with design systems and component library
    • Experience with responsive UI
    • Experience with Amazon Web Services
    • Experience with Linux and Shell scripting

    Job Type:
    Contract


    Pay:
    Up to $70.00 per hour


    Schedule:

    • 8 hour shift

    Ability to commute/relocate:

    • San Mateo, CA 94404: Reliably commute or planning to relocate before starting work (Required)
