    Overview:

    At New Braunfels Regional Rehabilitation Hospital, our hospital has been ranked in the Top 10% nationally for rehabilitative care for 10 years and has earned The Joint Commissions Stroke Certification and Brain Injury Certification. At our 40-bed hospital, we provide specialized inpatient and outpatient rehabilitative services to our patients, serving New Braunfels and surrounding areas. We see patients who often are recovering from disabilities caused by injuries, illnesses, or chronic medical conditions.

    Qualifications:

    Required Skills:

    High School Diploma or equivalent required.

    CPR Certification required.

    One (1) year experience in a hospital setting preferred

    Additional Qualifications/Skills:

    Knowledge of clinical operations and procedures.

    Demonstrates awareness of current Infection Control requirements and practices

    Demonstrates clinical proficiency utilizing policies, procedures, and guidelines

    Demonstrates appropriate use of supplies and equipment

    Demonstrates general computer skills including: data entry, word processing, email, and record management.

    Effective organizational and time management skills.

    Effective written and verbal communication skills.

    Ability to maintain proper levels of confidentiality.

    Ability to work closely and professionally with others.

    Ability to maintain quality, safety, and/or infection control standards.

    Responsibilities:

    Working under the supervision of a licensed therapist, primarily responsible for providing support care to patients and therapy staff. Integrates the hospitals mission and Guiding Principles into daily practice.
