Provide urgent care services to patients of all ages, addressing a variety of non-emergent medical concerns

Comprehensive Procedures Offered:
Perform essential urgent care procedures, including suturing, splinting, burn care, incision and drainage, foreign body removal, elbow reduction, and laceration repairs
On-Site Diagnostic Tools:
Have access to X-ray, iStat, and CBC capabilities for on-site diagnostics and informed treatment decisions
What You'll Do:
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments and develop evidence-based treatment plans for a variety of urgent care needs. Order and interpret diagnostic tests (X-ray, iStat, CBC) to facilitate accurate diagnoses. Perform essential urgent care procedures, such as suturing, splinting, and more. Prescribe medications and manage patient medications effectively. Provide patient education and counseling on various health topics relevant to urgent care. Document all patient interactions, diagnoses, treatment plans, and interventions thoroughly and efficiently within the Epic electronic medical records system.
Who You Are:
Master of Science in Nursing (MSN) degree for NPs or a Physician Assistant (PA) certification (required). Current and active license to practice in North Carolina (only). A commitment to providing compassionate, patient-centered care within a collaborative and team-oriented urgent care setting. Excellent communication, collaboration, and teamwork skills to work effectively with a multidisciplinary healthcare team. Strong clinical judgment and decision-making abilities to manage a diverse patient population in the urgent care setting. BLS and ACLS certifications from the American Heart Association (AHA) (required). AANP/AANC or NCCPA certification (required).
