    Job Description
    American Traveler is seeking a dual-modality CT/X-ray Technologist with an active VA license and ARRT certification for overnight shifts.

    Responsibilities
    Work in both CT and X-ray in a hospital setting
    Typical shifts are Monday through Thursday, 8:30 PM to 7:00 AM, 10 hours per shift
    Backup on-call required one weekend per month
    Holiday coverage includes one major and one minor holiday

    Common CT studies:
    head, abdominal, pelvic, angiography, and extremities
    X-ray exams include chest (portable) and routine radiographs
    Volume ranges from 0 to 15 studies per day, with occasional high of 22 exams
    Equipment includes GE CT unit, Philips X-ray units, EPIC EMR, and Fuji/Visage PACS
    Orientation will be provided specific to the floor
    Scrub color requirement is black
    No IV team support—must perform own IV insertions
    Must cover all required hospital areas for CT and X-ray
    On-call response time is 45 minutes

    Requirements
    Active VA State Radiologic Technologist license required for consideration
    AHA BLS, ARRT-CT, and ARRT-R certifications required
    Minimum 2 years of experience preferred in both CT and X-ray modalities
    Strong IV insertion skills are required
    Experience with EPIC EMR and Fuji/Visage PACS preferred
    License required if applicable
