    Responsibilities

    Premier Needle Arts (PNA) is seeking a skilled and experienced Senior Accountant to join our team.

    As a Senior Accountant, you will play a crucial role in managing the financial operations of our organization while ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting standards.

    You will be responsible for a variety of accounting tasks, including:

    Performing month-end financial close including journal entries, PO invoicing, bank entries and intercompany reconciliations.
    Providing support and guidance with quarter-end and year-end closing procedures.
    Assisting with financial and standard corporate reporting.
    Assisting with annual audit preparations.
    Managing fixed assets, including capital budgets, additions, disposals and tracking depreciation.
    Completing inventory related entry and reconciliation.
    Reviewing and approving vendor transactions.
    Working with other departments to resolve accounting related issues.

    After your 90-day introduction period and completion of training, we offer a hybrid work environment with the ability to work remotely 1 day a week.

    Requirements


    Essential skills and experience:
    A minimum of 3-5 years accounting experience.
    A bachelor's degree in accounting or a related field, and/or equivalent experience.
    Comprehension of complex accounting standards.
    Ability to manage competing priorities, and to prioritize multiple tasks and projects to meet deadlines while remaining organized.
    Independently solve practical problems and interpret a variety of written and oral instructions.
    Handle highly confidential and sensitive information.
    MS Office proficiency, including intermediate Excel skills. We will require you to perform an on-site excel skills assessment.

    Preferred Skills And Experience

    Familiarity with GAAP accounting principles a plus.
    CPA, CPA candidate or other relevant professional certification highly desired.
    NetSuite software experience highly desired.
    ADP Workforce Now experience a plus.

    Benefits

    Compensation:
    $53,000 to $65,000 per year DOQ, plus annual bonus based on EBITDA and company profitability.
