    Description


    Dixon is looking for a CNC Operator to join its manufacturing team on 1st shift at their Houston, Texas facility.

    The CNC Operator will operate computer numerical controlled (CNC) lathes to produce precision metal components, inspect products to drawing specifications.

    In this position you will learn to recognize machining issues and adjust as needed.

    Responsibilities:


    Run CNC machinesDaily maintenance activitiesTrouble shoot program issuesWork safely around equipment and co-workersFlexibility with rotating assignmentsWork as part of a team and participate in trainingCompetencies:Be able to read blue printsBe able to use measuring toolsGood reading and math skillsStand for duration of shiftLift and maneuver 70 lbs.
