    YOUR PURPOSE:

    The Lead JD Edwards E1 Software Engineer will be involved in all aspects of development life cycle. This role will work with analysts, architects, and engineers to plan, design, develop, and unit test solutions based on the functional and technical specifications to meet quality and performance requirements. This is exciting opportunity for the selected candidate to be part of an enterprise wide JDE upgrade and lead one or more of our software engineering pods after we complete our initiative.

    Responsibilities
    • Demonstrates effective working relationships with key stakeholders
    • Effectively coaches, mentors, and leads software engineering efforts
    • Use your advanced skills to solve technical problems
    • Provides technical guidance and support to colleagues
    • Hands on JDE E1 development work
    • Work with analysts, architects and project managers to develop technical design documents
    • Competently performs advanced IT tasks with minimal supervision
    • Has ability to work under pressure, maintains composure and professionalism in a software engineering development environment
    • Must be flexible and manage multiple changing priorities/tasks
    Qualifications
    • Experience with JD Edwards E1 9.1, 9.2
    • Experience with Oracle JD Edwards E1 tools: RDA, FDA, BDA, and TDA
    • Experience with JDE Orchestrator, UX One, BSFN and BI Publisher
    • Confident and comfortable creating UDOs (E1 Pages, OneView, Watchlists, etc.)
    • Capable of creating advanced queries using SQL, DML, and DDL for data analysis, user requests, and KPIs
    • Advanced knowledge DevOps / SDLC methods including release strategy
    • Knowledgeable on DB schema design
    • Experience with and an understanding of interface architectural principles and best practices to include resilience, recovery, and persistence schemes.
    • Demonstrates deep understanding of multiple technologies, business strategies and objectives
    • Competently performs advanced IT tasks with minimal supervision
    • Understands all aspects of development including, but not limited to, gathering requirements, designing future state solutions, development of objects related to process scope and supporting testing and post implementation support
    • Ability to adapt to new technical innovations and business processes
    • Exposure to at least three of the following or similar tools:
      • JD Edwards Orchestrator
      • Oracle Integration Cloud
      • IBM App Connect Pro
      • SAG web Methods
      • MuleSoft
    • At least 10+ years of direct experience with at least 3 of the following tools, technologies, and concepts:
      • REST, SOAP, Oauth 2.0
      • JSON, XML, XLST
      • Python, Groovy, SQL, SSIS
      • Postman, SOAPUI, JDeveloper, SQL Studio, Visual Studio, Git (GitLab, GitHub)
      • Oracle Cloud, Azure, AWS, Docker
      • EDI / X12, Cleo, SPS Commerce, Gentran

    Education and Experience Requirements:

    • 10+ years relevant experience
    • A four-year college degree or 10+ years of direct experience and certifications.

    • 30 minute preliminary screen
    • 3-4 interviews with members of our team
