    About Data Affect: We are a boutique data/service management firm specializing in the delivery of data governance, enterprise data strategy, solutions architecture, data warehousing, data integrations, data security & privacy management, IT service management, business analysis (and) agile project management services to diverse clients across multiple industries.

    Role: Windows Platform Engineer

    Location: Boston, MA (Hybrid)

    Duration: 6+ months

    Primary must-have skills: Windows operating systems internals, Windows Performance Toolkit, WinDbg, process monitor, driver verifier, PowerShell.

    Required skills:

    • Proficiency in Windows operating systems internals, including an understanding of memory management, I/O subsystems, CPU scheduling, and kernel-level components.
    • Experienced with low-level analytics tools such as Windows Performance Toolkit, Windbg, process monitor, driver verifier, and enterprise diagnostic tools
    • Experience working with cross-functional teams to identify performance requirements, define performance testing strategies, and implement performance improvements.
    • Proficiency in scripting and automation using languages like PowerShell, Python, or batch scripting to automate performance testing, data collection, and analysis tasks.
