    Job Description:

    The Accounting Clerk is responsible for working with the Responsive Technology Partners North Carolina team and clients on a day-to-day basis to ensure great communication and basic daily processes are accomplished on time. The successful candidate will take pride in making a difference in each of our customers' businesses and to their fellow employees. Some of the primary responsibilities are as follows:
    • Managing all purchasing and receiving for North Carolina operations.
    • Maintaining and tracking inventory on hand in the North Carolina location, including performing physical counts of inventory two times per year.
    • Invoicing for North Carolina operations.
    • Collecting and maintaining receipts for all company credit cards for the North Carolina team.
    • Collection efforts for North Carolina customers with past due balances.
    • Responding to customer billing questions by email and by phone.
    • Assist with answering incoming calls as needed; and
    • Any other accounting duties that may be assigned to you.
    The Successful candidate should have the ability to transition quickly between tasks, skilled in the Microsoft Office suite, especially Word and Excel. The successful candidate will be expected to learn the ticketing system, quoting software, and other various internal tools. The successful candidate should be willing to perform sometimes what seems like the smallest of tasks, understanding that those are the things that can make a difference, as well as be willing to help fill in the gaps as needed to help provide the best support to our customers and our team.

    • Ability to manage multiple work streams and prioritize correctly.
    • Ability to follow written and/or verbal directions.
    Desired Skills:
    • Demonstrated experience with Microsoft Word and Excel.
    • Demonstrated experience with documentation.
    • Demonstrated written and verbal skills.
    • Detail Oriented
    • Experience with Quickbooks is a plus
