    Job Details:

    • Work rotating days or evening shifts (5x8 per week) plus call responsibilities
    • Monday through Friday varying 8-hour shifts: (7:00 AM-3:00 PM), (9:00 AM-5:00 PM), (11:00 AM-7:00 PM), or (12:00 PM-8:00 PM)
    • Call responsibilities include one day per week and one weekend per month
    • 13-week contract assignment
    • Minimum 2 years of experience in CVOR specialty required
    • Recent travel experience required with preference for 3 completed assignments
    • Must be graduate of accredited surgical technology program or military training program

    Required certifications:
    North Dakota license (UAP/T or LPN), BLS (American Heart Association)

    Preferred certification:
    Certified Surgical Technician (CST) through NBSTSA


    • Temporary UAP/T license accepted prior to start
    • Organize and prepare case set-up prior to start of surgical procedures
    • Clean, assemble, operate, and properly care for instruments, supplies, and equipment
    • Identify and communicate unusual techniques and instruments required for surgery
    • Provide patient care according to diagnosis/procedure utilizing procedure cards
    • Handle operating room specimens according to standard operating procedures
    • Document procedure changes on procedure cards following each case
    • Participate in measuring and monitoring quality indicators and outcomes
    • Perform pain assessments and take appropriate action according to procedures
