    PeopleReady Skilled Trades is looking for Heavy Equipment (Asphalt Milling Operator) Operators for our client in Frederick. We would love to hire you for this full-time position TODAY

    Please note the pay rate for this role is $34 - $37 p/hr

    Responsibilities:

    • Operate heavy machinery including the BOMAG milling machine, skid steer loaders, and backhoe
    • Remove old asphalt layers and prepare surfaces for repaving
    • Perform routine maintenance on machinery
    • Monitor the milling process to ensure the appropriate depth and width
    • Assist in transporting machines as needed
    • Maintain accurate records of equipment, maintenance and work performed

    Qualifications:

    • Be at least 18 years of age and able to provide work authorization documents
    • Must be local to Frederick area
    • Minimum 4 years of experience as heavy equipment operator
    • Preferred Class A license
    • Must have good driving record
    • Prior skid steer/backhoe experience a plus
    • Ability to work any required overtime
    • Transportation to and from jobsites daily
    • Able to work in various weather conditions
    • Bi-lingual a plus
