Description
Are you an organized, strategic, and creative marketing professional? Do you enjoy planning events and collaborating with various business partners? You may be interested in our Marketing Specialist position.
In this role you will be responsible for leading the development, implementation, and execution of both online and in-person events for our agents and insureds (such as leadership conferences, webinars, large agent meetings and webinars).
Additionally, you will help assess the market to ensure Great West maintains its position as a leader in the industry.
Other responsibilities include:
Managing of events from beginning to end (everything from conception themes, planning logistics, coordinating guests, pre/post-event communication plans, to tracking costs and budgets).
Coordinate marketing efforts for a handful of departments at Great West.
Administration of agency rewards programs and remarketing campaigns.
Role Requirements:
A Bachelor's degree, preferably in marketing, business, communications, or a related field.
2-3 years' experience in event planning for a large corporation or non-profit.
Must be able to travel up to 25%.
Balanced knowledge of both event management and general marketing campaign principles.
Work with a high level of initiative and collaboration.
