    Job Title: Clinical Lab Assistant

    • Work Shift: Second (Evenings) (United States of America)
    • Full-Time Schedule: 2:00pm - 10:30pm, 4:00pm - 12:00pm

    Job Summary: The Clinical Lab Assistant is responsible for performing patient phlebotomy with a focus on maintaining exceptional customer service. Duties include collecting, labeling, and processing patient specimens for testing, handling registration and test data entry, monitoring supply levels, operating and maintaining laboratory equipment, and addressing both internal and external customer inquiries.

    The role involves frequent interaction with hospital and physician office staff and may also include performing EKG and operating a glucometer. Completion of a Phlebotomy Program or Course can be considered in lieu of one year of experience in Phlebotomy, and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 60 days of hire.

    Qualifications:

    • HS - High School Grad or Equivalent (Required)
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) - Certification - American Heart Association (AHA) RQIPhlebotomy

    Skills: Active Listening, Communication, Reading Comprehension, Service Orientation, Speaking, Typing Speed 30+ WPM, Writing
