Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and qualified Occupational Therapist (OT) to join our team for the current school year. As an integral part of our special education team, the OT will play a crucial role in enhancing the educational experience and promoting the overall well-being of our students. This is a part-time contract position offering the opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of our students.

Responsibilities:

Conduct assessments to evaluate students' motor skills, sensory processing, and functional abilities.
Develop individualized treatment plans to address students' specific needs and goals.
Provide direct occupational therapy services to students both individually and in group settings.
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other members of the educational team to support students' academic and social success.
Monitor students' progress and adjust intervention strategies as needed.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's or Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
Current North Carolina state licensure or eligibility for licensure.
Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively with colleagues, parents, and other stakeholders.
