Job Title: Certified Respiratory Therapist

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Respiratory Therapist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing respiratory care duties on general nursing units and in critical care areas.

About the Role:

• Evaluate the therapeutic benefits of respiratory care services rendered to patients;
• Discuss with physicians any difficulties patients may be having with therapy;
• Makes recommendations appropriate to a patient population of all ages;

The Certified Respiratory Therapist participates in the orientation of respiratory care staff, teaches, and counsels staff on available equipment usage.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree or Equivalent Required,
promotes overall quality improvement by maintaining an up-to-date knowledge base through ongoing education,
demonstrates ability to work under pressure meeting deadlines,
successfully completes de-escalation training within 90 days;
willingness to sit for National Board for Respiratory Care Certification (CRT) upon hire.
