    Job Description

    An Experienced Transactional Legal Secretary is Sought for Corporate and Securities and Real Estate Practice Areas.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Provide Administrative Support to Attorneys and Paralegals in Corporate and Securities and Real Estate.
    • Prepare, Revise, Proofread and Redline Legal Documents.
    • Assist with Entity Formation and General Corporate Governance.
    • Compose Correspondence, Minutes, Real Estate and Finance Documents.
    • Create and Mail Correspondence to Clients and Government Agencies.
    • File Documents with State and Federal Agencies.
    • Track Certified Mailings and Overnight Deliveries.
    • Prepare Engagement Letters and Conflict Reports.
    • Manage Attorney Calendars and Deadlines.
    • Coordinate Conference Calls and Meetings.
    • Perform Administrative Tasks such as Scanning Documents and Updating Files.

    Qualifications:

    • Minimum of Three Years' Experience as a Legal Secretary with Transactional Experience in Corporate Law, Commercial Transactions and Securities; Real Estate.
    • Familiarity with Federal and State Securities Filings and Regulations.
    • Strong System Skills in Document Management Systems and Digital Filing.
    • Proficient Knowledge of Outlook, Word, DocuSign and Excel.
    • Ability to Maintain Confidentiality and Provide Excellent Communication Skills.
    • Strong Organizational Skills and Attention to Detail.
    • Excellent Interpersonal Skills and Ability to Work Independently and as Part of a Team.
