    Job Summary:
    Provides supervision in the operation of the department regarding clinical research activities in patient and non-patient areas. Provides oversight of regional consenting activities including implementation of protocols, resource planning, team management, project tracking, study metrics, data collection and auditing, and assisting in the expansion of the program.

    Job Duties:
    • Provides general operational support for patient and non-patient activities in collaboration with departmental directors.
    • Assists in development, revision, and audit all department policies and operational procedures.
    • Manages all aspects of outreach services and community events for the department.
    • Facilitates a timely problem resolution process.
    • Implements activities and tools that consistently educate and focus staff on key performance indicators.
    • Facilitates active engagement and communication with department staff via formal meetings and informal interactions.
    • Handles employee relations activities and determines and maintains appropriate staffing levels to meet the needs of projects and project timelines.
    • As a supervisor, interviews, hires, mentors, and trains junior project staff.
    • Assesses staff and facilitates skill development for all personnel.
    • Facilitates appropriate individual and staff performance recognition in an effort to maintain a positive and motivational work environment.
    • Directs and monitors ongoing compliance with regulatory requirements in collaboration with the Director.
    • Tracks supply orders and project related expenses, employee mileage, and monitors regional budgets.
    • Coordinates all research project related activities to meet project goals and milestones, based on study design. Works with the Director to develop and implement a strategy to optimize resource utilization and expand consenting operations within the system. Communicates resource needs, issues, and regional status updates to project team and program management, with supporting data, as requested and required.
    • Acts as primary point of initial contact with clinic staff at newly involved clinics.
    • Reviews data dashboards for optimization of consenting location scheduling.

    Position Details:

    *Relevant experience may be a combination of related work experience and degree obtained (Associate's Degree = 2 years; Bachelor's Degree = 4 years).

    Education:
    High School Diploma or Equivalent (GED)- (Required)

    Experience:
    Minimum of 6 years-Relevant experience* (Required)
