A large Healthcare Organization is looking for a 6 month Contract Certified Pharmacy Technician in the Columbia Area.

Title of the position - Production Prep Technician
Location - Columbia MD 21046

Ideal candidate background l- Licensed Pharmacy Technician in Hospital or Long Term Care - needs to have a strong back ground with medical terminology
Team - Pharmacist and 2 to 3 Technicians
Top 5-10 responsibilities for this position-
a. Filling prescriptions according to dedicated lot numbers
b. Staging of non compounded medication prior to submission for compounding
c. Filling of non- compound prescriptions to be checked by pharmacists
d. Monitoring for expired lot numbers for medication
e. Supporting daily inventory management for restocking of shelves

Skills/attributes are a must have 2 + years as a licensed Pharmacy Technician with knowledge of IV medication and have a State Pharmacy Technician License or National Certification

Skills/attributes Knowledge and passed experience in working with IV medications

Work hours - 10 am to 6:30pm
Overtime or weekend work a requirement - Not required
