Job Summary
Maintains and operates various types of motorized equipment in repair of city infrastructure and facilities; undertakes a variety of maintenance activities pertaining to public works operations and services;ensure the safety of crew members and the public; provides support to the Streets & Drainage Superintendent and Foreman.
- Operate a variety of motorized equipment such as front-end loaders, asphalt pavers, motor graders, gradalls, backhoes, dump trucks, rollers, street sweepers, trenchers, bush-hogs, skid steers, tractors with various attachments,
- perform skilled and semi-skilled tasks related to the completion of road repair and maintenance,
- Cleans roadways of debris; flag traffic,
