Full Time Physical Therapist

We have a large clinical team at NovaCare Eldersburg seeking a full time physical therapist to treat a diverse caseload of teens through geriatrics. This is one of our SPORTS CENTERS OF EXCELLENCE giving a sports medicine focused clinician the opportunity to work alongside of sports specialty certified PTs within a properly equipped center to support our local sports contracts. Your caseload would not be 100% sports and will include additional specialties such as; vestibular, neurology, concussion, oncology, industrial (POETs), dry needling and fall prevention on top of general orthopedics.

This full time physical therapist position is open for new graduates or experienced clinicians alike. Our mentorship program will ensure you start your career off right with a protected schedule and onsite mentor. We have a 10 patient per day expectation after your mentorship. We schedule 60 minute (1:1) evals and 45 minute visits. Most clinicians average 10-12 patients in an eight hour day. Full time for NovaCare begins at 32 hours and we CAN consider those seeking hours as long as your schedule includes some evenings treating until 7PM. Last patient is scheduled an hour prior.

Schedule: 32hrs.+ Monday through Friday with some evenings until 7PM. Last patient scheduled an hour prior.

Compensation: Starting at $78,000 and up Commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Understand appropriate state practice acts and adhere to the laws which govern how physical therapists may practice and whom physical therapists may supervise.
• Complete and maintain all corporate & clinical services required training and maintain compliance with state/local/federal regulations.
• Evaluate, treat, and direct treatment for patients for whom physical therapy is medically necessary and document this need clearly.
• Maintain open and respectful communication with co-workers, physicians, patients, family members, and third-party payors at all times.
• Attend and/or participate in facility meetings as directed by the center manager.

Qualifications

• Graduate from an American Physical Therapy Association (APTA) accredited PT school
• Valid State Physical Therapist License
• Cardio-Pulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification required
