Sales representative for an energy business that sells and supports fuel systems for convenience retailers. The company focus is comprehensive services coupled with value-added distribution of petroleum equipment from leading global manufacturers. The company is one of the largest of its kind in the U.S. with 300+ employees. The outside sales representative role requires some travel to the surrounding designated areas.


Primary Duties:

Able to develop a high level of expertise regarding product lines and industry regulations Displays or demonstrates products and services; increase customer awareness of GFTs products and services including equipment, repair & maintenance services, and installation.

Work in a team oriented environment that requires working and communicating positively and professionally with fellow employees, customers, and vendors Provide superior customer service, investigate and resolve customer concerns.

Manage assigned territory, by phone and in-person visits, develop and maintain relationships Abide by all regulations, policies, work procedures and instructions, including GFT Safety requirementsRequired Education and Experience: Consultative selling skills with a proven track record of success Experience with point of sale, payment systems, and/or capital equipment sales preferred 3-6+ years sales experience in a consultative, full-cycle environment Sales strategy and presentation skills Basic mechanical and IT aptitude is required Self-motivated and able to work with little direction on a daily basis Ability to manage projects effectively, strong organizational skills Must possess and maintain a safe driving record with valid driver's license Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background checkRequirements:

Physical Demands:
The physical demands of this position require driving, sitting, typing, talking on the phone, using a smart mobile device, use of a desktop computer, and walking/moving around a job site that may be located in a warehouse or outside

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time Exempt position (salary plus commission)

Travel:
