Your Opportunity

Directs maintenance crews in the installation, repair and preventive maintenance of equipment used throughout the plant. Oversees maintenance of processes to reduce downtime and keep production lines running efficiently.

Core Responsibilities

Leads Maintenance Mechanics & Electricians in maintenance and repair.
Develops and supervises maintenance systems, processes, and documentation.
Schedules maintenance and collaborates with Production for repairs.
Tracks performance indicators for maintenance function.
Provides solutions and support to operating teams.
Trains employees on work methods and safety.
Ensures tasks comply with regulations.
Maintains accurate maintenance records.
Provides status reports to management.
Supervises in the absence of key personnel.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field and 2+ years of experience required.
Experience in leading and technical skills preferred.
Knowledge of maintenance systems and strong leadership skills preferred.
Excellent communication and planning skills.
Ability to work well in a dynamic environment.
Bilingual skills preferred.
May require long hours and weekends.

Supervisory Responsibilities

Provides leadership and guidance to Maintenance Department.
Carries out supervisory responsibilities as per policies and laws.
Interviews, hires, trains, plans work, and appraises performance.

Work Environment & Physical Demands

Office and plant setting with various conditions.
Noise level is moderate to loud.
Occasional lifting up to 50 pounds.
Requires various physical movements.
