We are searching for Entry Level or Level1 "Computer Technician" candidates who are eager to begin their IT careers and have a strong, fast-paced work ethic while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. Comptia A+ or Associates degree in the computer field OR 1+ year of business professional working experience in the computer installation field.

Job Details:

• Location: Jersey City, NJ
• Workdays: Monday through Friday
• Shift: 8:00AM - 5:00PM
• Project Dates: 5/9 - 5/31
• Duration: 3 weeks, Another phase in July

Job Description:

• Reliable and professional work ethic, someone who takes pride in their work.
• Follow instructions while working in a team or independent environment.
• Basic installation of (813) new CPU and two monitors (under 43").
• Ability to read, understands, and follow oral and written instruction.
• Excellent attention to detail.
• Works well in a fast-paced and exciting environment.
• On-site Asset Tagging (provider supplied).
• On-site trash removal.
• A+ certification is preferred.
• Must have reliable transportation to get to the customer site.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

• Repetitive motion capability, good eye/hand coordination, manual dexterity sufficient to assemble units or small parts of equipment, detailed oriented and ability to work alone.

REQUIRED:

• Level1: Comptia A+ and/or Associates degree in a technical discipline such as Computer Science, Information Services, or related field, or equivalent from two-year college or technical school; or 1+ years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Reliable/dependable vehicle to commute to customer site.
