    Job Summary

    The operations program manager supports the Vice President Health Major Capital Projects in setting and implementing strategic and operational vision, policies, controls, and training for the department.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead the development and continuous improvement of departmental policies and procedures to manage complex projects across a large geographic range.
    • Support the VP in implementing and training new policies with department staff.
    • Collaborate with members of other UCSF Real Estate departments in developing and aligning policies, procedures, standards, training, and staff development.
    • Develop a training program for project management staff, including design and construction specific content.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience/training.
    • 8-10 years of relevant progressive experience.
    • Knowledge of the Design and Construction Industry.
    • Advanced knowledge of policy analysis techniques, project management, and organizational processes.
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
    • Ability to use discretion and maintain confidentiality.
    • Ability to multi-task with demanding timeframes.
