    Description
    Local Electrical Contractor is looking for experienced Fire Alarm Technicians for opportunities in the Ft. Walton area. These are long term positions.

    Must be dependable, have good work history, and be able to pass a drug test. Pay depends on experience. Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 years Low-Voltage commercial construction work experience.


    RESPONSIBILITIES:
    Read and interpret blueprints.
    Communication with project managers and customers, as required, to ensure that the project is completed.
    Program and troubleshoot fire alarm and security systems.
    Coordination with subcontractors
    Performs duties within OSHA guidelines and safety policies.
    Assume lead role in job turnover to project management.
    Other duties as assigned.


    QUALIFICATIONS:
    Experience programming fire alarm and security systems.
    NICET certification
    Must be able to multi-task and handle multiple projects.
    Capable of lifting 50 lbs.
    Have a valid driver's license.
