- Oversees a team to ensure projects are completed on time and to specifications.
- Delegates work and assignments to team members based on expertise, work experience, and time constraints.
- Collaborates with engineers, estimators etc. to determine the specifications of the project.
- Outlines all construction operations and schedule intermediate phases to ensure deadlines will be met.
- Requests equipment and material and monitor stocks to timely handle inadequacies.
- Prepares and implements a budget based on estimates.
- Supervise the work of laborers, equipment operators etc. and provide them guidance when needed.
- Conducts risk assessments; reports identified risks to management; provides recommendations for mitigation of risk (including termination of the project if appropriate).
- Addresses questions, concerns, and/or complaints throughout the project.
- Acts as a liaison between company, customers, and vendors.
- Ensures compliance with federal, state, local, industry, contractual, and company regulations, standards, specifications, and best practices.
- Ensure adherence to all health and safety standards and report issues.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.

The Civil Project Manager will plan and supervise a wide range of civil construction projects from start to finish.This individual will organize and oversee civil construction procedures and ensure they are completed in a timely and efficient manner.
