    We're currently hiring mechanical assembly workers for a local Chaska company. The ideal candidate for this production assembly position must have mechanical skills and be comfortable with all types of hand and power tools.

    Location: Chaska, MN

    Wage: $18 - $21/hr.

    Hours: 7 am – 3:30 pm, Monday - Friday

    Duties of the mechanical assembly worker:

    • Read and interpret engineering drawings to determine size and type of material needed
    • Configure items for proper fitment
    • Bolt, glue, screw, or otherwise fastens parts together
    • Fabricate according to specifications, drawings and/or verbal direction
    • Operate machines that are needed to perform production work of assembling parts
    • Test fitment of parts before modifying pieces and parts
    • Measure, cut, and fasten plumbing materials such as: PVC pipe, stainless steel pipe, copper
    • pipe or other galvanized materials
    • Fasten and secure customized production material onto custom frames
    • Test equipment to ensure proper functionality
    • Assist with preparing systems and loose equipment to go out for shipment

    Requirements of the mechanical assembly worker:

    • High school diploma or general education degree (GED); and one to three years related
    • experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
    • Measure quickly and accurately to 1/16th of an inch
    • Read and interpret engineering drawings or blueprints
    • Experience and confidence with hand and power tools
