    Up to 10%Type of Travel: LocalAs a Software Manager/Release Train Engineer for the SAFFIRE program, you will be working closely with government product managers, business analysts, other Release Train Engineers, the Solution Train Engineer, scrum masters, and the System Team to ensure that stakeholders' needs are properly prioritized and executed, and the development processes are efficient and effective.

    You will be a key member of the Release Train leadership team, doing work that matters for some of the U.S.

    Government's most critical missions.

    Facilitate PI Planning Events alongside other release trains Facilitate ongoing SAFe ceremonies during the program incrementSummarize and Communicate team Program Increment Objectives Coach Scrum masters on Agile processes and foster Continuous Improvement Remove and/or Escalate impediments to progress, and foster culture of continuous improvement Communicate/Coordinate with External Stakeholders Lead the release train's execution of Product Roadmaps and Program Increment plans Work with direct reports to foster an environment that values innovation and collaborationBrief government customer in weekly tag ups and monthly Program Management ReviewsYou'll

    Bring These Qualifications:
    Active Top Secret or Top Secret SCI clearance, preferably with a recent polygraphPrior experience with Agile Development and/or Scrum, to include Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) experienceExcellent communication, interpersonal and mentoring skills Ability to work with, lead, and manage a team Ability to adapt in a rapidly changing environment Understanding of all stages of the Software Development Life CycleExperience communicating with government customers, both formally and informallyThese Qualifications Would Be Nice to Have:SAFe RTE certification Technical background in Software Development and/or DevSecOps Information Assurance certification (like Security+)

    Pay Range:
    The proposed salary range for this position is $101,800-$218,800.

    There are a host of factors that can influence final salary including, but not limited to, geographic location, Federal Government contract labor categories and contract wage rates, relevant prior work experience, specific skills and competencies, geographic location, education, and certifications.
