Operations Research Analyst with Security Clearance - Norfolk, VA, United States - Amentum

Description

Amentum is seeking an Operations Research Analyst to assist our Navy customer with systems and technical engineering services
We will implement your expertise through a disciplined and rigorous Systems Engineering (SE) process across all mission areas of the system under development and sustainment
Using your prowess and experience, help our customer define, document, and follow an open systems approach using modular design, standards-based interfaces, and widely supported consensus-based standards in hardware, software, subsystems, and elements that comprise the specific system

Operations Research Analyst Responsibilities Include:

• Collecting and analyzing's data to evaluate operations and processes and to facilitate complex decision-making.
• Following established modeling and evaluation methodologies to determine the effectiveness of current operational activities, isolate problem areas and develop solutions.
• Testing and validating models and results.
• Preparing reports that outline and rank proposed solutions and present a range of possible alternatives.
• Contributing to moderately complex aspects of a project.
• Working independent and collaborative in nature

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in mathematics or related field.
• At least six (6) years of full-time professional experience in operational analysis, evaluating systems and proposed solutions, experience analyzing and documenting business processes and workflows, experience using Industry standard methods and models for determining solutions.
• At least two (2) years must have been full-time and experience with Navy Training Systems

Education may be substituted by this same experience.

• Must have an Active SECRET US Government Clearance
