- Conduct market analysis, including participating in salary surveys and researching compensation trends and best practices to ensure our compensation strategy remains competitive.
- Analyze job descriptions to determine appropriate salary grades, conducting job evaluations and contributing to job classification systems.
- Assist in the design and administration of compensation programs such as base pay structures, incentive plans, bonus programs, and salary adjustments.
- Collaborate with HR and management to provide compensation-related support and guidance on pay decisions, policy interpretations, and job evaluations.
- Develop and maintain compensation-related reports and metrics to aid in decision-making and to ensure program effectiveness.
- Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
- Recommend process improvements for compensation programs and practices to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
- Provide support for compensation projects, such as program rollouts and updates.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field required.
- A minimum of 2 years of experience in compensation analysis, design, or administration.
- Strong analytical skills with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in HRIS systems and Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel for data analysis, modeling, and scenario planning.
- Knowledge of compensation fundamentals and best practices, as well as federal, state, and local compensation laws and regulations.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
- Proven ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects with competing deadlines.
- Ability to work collaboratively with HR team members and other departments.
