    (MELE) maintains a contract with the National Security Administration (NNSA) Office of Nuclear Incidence Response (NA-84)
    MELE requiresan exceptional candidate to fill a Program Analyst position supporting the Consequence Management (CM) Program
    This position will provide direct support to the federal Program Manager with project management support
    This hybrid work position will require frequent trips to the office for meetings and information-system related work that cannot be conducted from outside the office
    In addition, this position will serve as an on-call member of the NA-84 response team to support operations when directed

    Essential Functions:

    • Organize and support the management of programmatic engagement with the interagency and interagency stakeholders
    Assists federal leadership in tracking milestones, deliverables, and budgets for interagency work.

    • When required, represent the CM Program at interagency meetings and events.
    • Work closely with engineers, scientists, and others to create, revise and edit technical documents, spreadsheets, graphs, and other deliverables.
    • Assist with tracking programmatic policies, agreements, and correspondence.
    • Support NA-84 CM efforts with coordination, synchronization, and integration efforts across NA-84.
    • Assist in the development, execution, and after-action reporting of internal programmatic drills and exercises.
    • Work with National Labs in supporting their positions within departmental operations and exercises.
    • Frequent interaction with federal clients and stakeholders as well as the ability to translate technical information for a more general audience.
    • Ability to think strategically and translate strategic goals into operational steps and tactical objectives.

    Required Qualifications:

    • A U.S
    citizen with a current Top Secret or DOE "Q" clearance and ability to obtain SCI access
    May require the periodic successful completion of a counterintelligence-scope polygraph examination.

    • BS or BA degree from an accredited university with 5+ years of experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience in relevant fields such as business administration or program management with additional studies in national security, nuclear security, or emergency management.
    • Experience in the DOE/NNSA enterprise, including National Laboratories or stakeholder agencies, especially for the Consequence Management Mission.
    • Knowledge of federal nuclear and radiological incident response plans and programs.
    • Experience working with interagency and industry policymakers.
    • Demonstrated writing and editing skills in the creation of documents, plans, procedures, and proposals.
    • Willingness to work directly with clients in an environment that changes rapidly and requires occasional long hours.
    • Must be an independent, self-starter with excellent organizational skills and an ability to multi-task and be comfortable working with a team of technical experts in varying fields of scientific and engineering disciplines.
    • Extensive experience with Microsoft Office Suite including advanced word processing using Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
    • Ongoing reviews and tests for the absence of any illegal substances may be conducted as a requirement for ongoing access to DOE sites; the candidate's written consent to conduct such tests will be required as a condition of employment.
    • Must be willing to work after-hours, extended shifts and on weekends when required during emergency responses and exercises.
    • Ability to execute short-notice travel may be required.

    Desired Qualifications:

    • Experience within NNSA, National Laboratories, or related agencies.
    • Interagency experience as it relates to Consequence Management.
    • Experience with SharePoint, MS Teams, and other staff-integration tools.
    • Project Management Program certificate.
