    Description

    The SharePoint Business Analyst is responsible for the maintenance and development of the Intranet site by architecting, building, and deploying technical solutions for needs identified by the business. You will be responsible for analyzing customer requirements, designing solutions, and ensuring successful project delivery and overall customer satisfaction. You will also be heavily involved with building and maintaining workflows and content. In addition to technical responsibilities, the SharePoint Business Analyst will work with the Quality Assurance team on testing and the Technical Writer on any documentation necessary.

    • Responsibilities include but not limited to:Architect, develop and deploy technical solutions to needs identified internally and by business units using SharePoint and its related services.
    • Understand and translate user interface and business requirements into implementation plan.
    • Administer SharePoint.
    • Build and manage workflows.
    • Create custom Web parts for required site elements using C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net
    • Create custom controls and applications using ASP.NET.
    • Create connections to systems to allow display KPIs and dashboards using Excel Services and SQL.
    • Handle RSS feed integration and management (using SharePoint Web Parts and through XML/XSL).
    • Manage and expand enterprise search.
    • Deploy secure external collaboration solution for document sharing (https).
    • Provide input to Quality Assurance team for test plan creation and execution.
    • Ensure and manage platform scalability.
    • Train key stakeholders on updating content.
    • Identify new content areas.
    • Bachelors degree or equivalent work experience.
    • 1-3 years experience with SharePoint 365 (Architecture, Planning, Designing, Administration, Developing, Testing & Installation).
    • Ability to develop web services.
    • Ability to develop custom web parts for department news and announcement roll-up and rotation.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office suite, especially in conjunction with SharePoint interactivity. Including InfoPath, SharePoint Desinger, PowerApps and Power Automate
    • Ability to refine, create and manage search indices.
    • Ability to create a secure portal for Extranet clients.
    • Ability to restrict content via security and audience groups (using Active Directory).
    • Ability to use .Net, VB, ASP, WSS where applicable.
    • Ability to create connections to external data sources (e.g., help desk ticketing system, knowledge base) using SQL and display information in a Web part using C#, VB.Net, ASP.Net where applicable.
    • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, strong attention to detail.
    • Candidate should be forward-thinking and innovative.

    Experience with migrating SP Designer workflows to Power Automate

    • Experience with migrating InfoPath forms to PowerApps
