    Job Title: HOKA Sr. Product Line Manager – Innovation

    Reports To: VP, Product
    Location: Portland, OR

    POSITION PURPOSE/SUMMARY STATEMENT:

    The Sr. Product Line Manager – Innovation will join and invigorate an inspired product team aimed at delivering compelling research and consumer-led solutions for humans of all abilities. Leaning on our bold, innovative, and unexpected brand ethos, this role will curate and manage key performance products through an authentic HOKA lens. The ideal candidate has a passion and curiosity for product with an extreme curiosity for new concepts. They will flex their analytical, diplomatic, and collaborative skills regularly. This role will serve to amplify our brand in such a way that we enable everyone to fly over the earth.

    DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Cultivates a consistent culture of innovation, advanced product creation, analysis, and action to drive clear direction into the innovation process.

    • Delivers a steady stream of compelling and disruptive concepts aimed at developing the future of HOKA.

    • Comprehensively learns and cultivates a deep understanding of the running, outdoor, and lifestyle markets, stays current on consumer trends and needs.

    • Creates and manages a comprehensive workstream, project flow, and product implementation process with product leadership and inline product leaders.

    • Exercises a strong POV on future strategy development in collaboration with the entire product team.

    • Maintains a curious, open, and never-ending appetite for learning, synthesizing, and distilling new concepts for implementation into the future of HOKA product.

    • Works alongside VP, Product and Directors to manage a 1-, 3-, 5-, and 10-year long range plan to outline innovation-to-inline adoption plans.

    • Responsible to achieve personal/project goals as laid out in our MFP and hit appointed KPI targets.

    • Proactively leads in regular quarterly share outs to the broader product team on new discoveries and concepts.

    • Curates presentation materials and spearheads preparation for all milestone meetings for timely delivery to the VP, Product.

    • Accountable for data accuracy, accountability, and approval in product line management systems where applicable.

    • Liaison with HOKA Innovation development, design, athlete services, and legal teams to ensure smooth process and alignment.

    • HOKA Athlete involvement and relationship building.

    • Comprehensive understanding of competitor global product lines and market performance.

    • Frequent travel, up to 25% of the time.

    REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:
    Education/Experience:

    • Bachelor's degree, Masters preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    • 5 - 7 years of related experience (Innovation, product line management, product development).

    • People management experience preferred.

    • International experience a must.

    Skills//Programs/Knowledge/Behavior:

    • Proven experience of critical thinking with regards to progressive product thinking and management of both developing process and delivering compelling projects.

    • Clear and concise communicator with proven negotiation and influencing skills; easily adapts to needs of different audiences.

    • Experience cultivating consumer insights and driving these insights to create thoughtful product briefs and brand buy-in.

    • Strong and growing business acumen - continuously evaluates competitors and the marketplace to creatively capitalize on market opportunities.

    • Experience independently developing project plans with ability to see the big picture, understand how each product fits into that picture, and communicate an impactful vision.

    • Experience resolving complex problems with limited direction and guidance.

    • Strong presentation skills are a must. Comfortable presenting product and strategy to small and large audiences.

    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
