Exciting opportunity alert! Kostwein, a leading industrial machine manufacturing company based in Greenville, SC, has teamed up with Opsource to find a skilled Mechanical Assembler to join their dynamic team for first shift.
Position: Mechanical Assembly Technician - If you're someone who enjoys assembling from print and has experience with schematics and blueprints, this role is for you!

Compensation: DOE
Shifts:
- 6am – 3pm (Mon-Thu)
- 6am – Noon (Fri)
Key Responsibilities:
- Read, interpret, and follow blueprints, diagrams, and engineering drawings
- Efficiently assemble equipment and machines based on provided instructions
- Install machines and equipment as per circuit diagrams and material lists
- Conduct necessary tests post-assembly
- Maintain test documentation and reports
- Handle materials properly and ensure correct allocation
- Safely operate assembly tools and equipment
- Foster positive working relationships with colleagues
Requirements:
- 2 years of mechanical assembly experience
- Technical degree (2 years) preferred
- Safety-conscious with a strong sense of responsibility
- Ability to lift 50lbs independently
- Proficiency in interpreting assembly drawings and 3D models
- Excellent time management and planning abilities
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
- Flexible team player willing to support tasks as needed
- Skilled in inspecting and verifying work for quality assurance
- Experience with machine installation and sensor technology
