    Description

    Job Title: Technical Specialist at Defense Threat Reduction Agency

    This job is part of the Defense Threat Reduction Agency where you will serve as a technical specialist in instrumentation development, coordination, and providing engineering advice for WMD R&D testing and evaluation.

    Responsibilities:

    • Develop and implement Instrumentation plans for R&D Testing and Evaluation.
    • Integrate project modifications identified during test team meetings.
    • Oversee installation and testing assignments and review contractor work based on test priorities and deadlines.
    • Assign broad work objectives to team personnel for all instrumentation activities.
    • Monitor cost and schedule for assigned test projects.

    Qualifications:

    • Expert knowledge in engineering and scientific background for WMD testing.
    • Proficiency in computer programming languages such as C++, Javascript, Python.
    • Comprehensive understanding of components and subsystems for instrumentation development.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field accredited by ABET.
  • Professional registration or licensure as an Engineer.
  • Experience in the physical and mathematical sciences underlying engineering.
