    POSITION DESCRIPTION:
    Coordinate all Vendor Management and Purchasing to control costs, maximize buying power, and create efficiencies.

    KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND PERFORMANCE MEASURES:
    Direct the procurement of materials, supplies, equipment, and services.
    Ensure efficient operation of the Purchasing function.
    Develop and implement a strategic procurement program reflecting best practices; evaluate current practices and provide recommendations for improvement.
    Lead supplier identification, approval, contract/pricing negotiations, and vendor relations.
    Identify, mitigate, and escalate procurement risks to enable dealerships to meet its obligations and to maximize business opportunities.
    Generate and track cost saving initiatives.
    Produce regular reports on purchase commitments, costs, and delivery performance.

    Collaborate with other internal teams crucial to the procurement process, such as VPs, Managers, Legal Counsel, Accounts Payable/Accounts Receivable, etc.

    Establish and maintain positive working relationships with key partners/vendors while communicating strategic initiatives to Senior Leadership Team.
    Monitor service/supplier performance and resolve issues as needed.
    Perform all other duties as assigned.

    QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:


    Bachelor's degree from four-year College or University; and/or ten plus years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

    Experience using Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook.
    Outstanding team building and leadership skills.
    Strong working knowledge of Dealer Management Systems as well as other operational systems and warehouse management.
    Detail-orientation with strong quantitative analytical skills and an innovative approach to problem solving.
