    HealthyKids of Gardendale is a well established private pediatric clinic seeking an experienced Pediatric Nurse Practitioner to join our team.

    Role Description

    This is a part-time on-site position, with potential to become full-time, for a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner located in Gardendale, AL. As a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner, you will be responsible for providing compassionate and high-quality healthcare to pediatric patients. Your day-to-day tasks will include conducting thorough sick and well assessments, diagnosing and treating common pediatric illnesses, prescribing medications, providing immunizations, and collaborating with physicians and clinical staff.

    Qualifications

    • Valid and unrestricted state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner
    • Master's degree in Nursing with a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner specialization
    • 2-3 years experience working as a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner preferred
    • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment
    • Experience with electronic health records (EHR) systems
    • Dedication to continuous learning and staying up-to-date with the latest advancements in pediatric healthcare
