    This is a remote position.

    Based in the greater Washington, D.C. area with team members across the United States, Piedmont Global Language Solutions (PGLS) is backed by 30+ years of combined experience in Translation, Interpretation, and security Analysis. Our network of language and security professionals specializes in the translation and analysis of more than 200 languages and regional dialects.


    Piedmont Global Language Solutions (PGLS) is looking for freelance Kurdish transcribers .

    Job Description:

    Transcribe foreign language high quality audio into written English. Some files may require a small amount of written translation. You may choose to accept or decline the translation projects.

    All linguists will be required to complete a short assessment as part of the vetting process after the necessary clearance is granted.


    Requirements

    • 1+ year (s) of experience of translating, transcribing, or interpreting from the requested language into English.
    • U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain a Public Trust background determination.
    • Clearance requires a background check, drug test and credit check.
