Job Description:
The Registered Nurse Hospital Floater performs RN duties in multiple departments as assigned on a routine fill-in basis, and functions as a vital member of the healthcare team by demonstrating a customer/patient focus, effective communication, professionalism and self-development, and teamwork.
The individual utilizes the nursing process to assess, plan, implement and evaluate comprehensive care provided to selected patient populations and their families.
The Registered Nurse Hospital is expected to demonstrate excellent clinical, problem-solving, interpersonal and leadership skills and make decisions consistent with hospital policies, department protocols/guidelines, and the Wisconsin Nurse Practice Act.
WORK SHIFT
12 hour night shift with every 3rd weekend rotation and 2 major Holidays per year.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS
EDUCATION
For positions requiring education beyond a high school diploma or equivalent, educational qualifications must be from an institution whose accreditation is recognized by the Council for Higher Education and Accreditation.
Minimum Required:
Diploma or degree in nursing.
Preferred/Optional:
Bachelor's degree in nursing.
EXPERIENCE

Two years hospital nursing experience, specific to consortium.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSES
