    Role description:
    Arcadis is seeking an Environmental Intern to join our team in Selma, CA.

    Sitting within our Mobility Business Area, this part-time, as-needed role will be responsible for working with the High-Speed Rail Project.


    As part of our Program and Project Management team, you'll help deliver some of the biggest, most iconic projects imaginable, with some of the best talent around.

    With your energy, agility and a keen eye for detail, you'll deliver transformational outcomes for multiple clients every day.


    Role accountabilities:
    As a Technical Engineer Intern, your responsibilities will include conducting research for change order proposals.

    This involves navigating the document control process and utilizing the document control system database to organize Contract Change Orders into change order binders for the Project.

    You will also be involved in navigating through Record Drawings, including Design Drawings and Construction Plans, as well as Project Record Documents.

    Proficiency in Microsoft Office Programs, especially Excel and Word, is essential for success in this position.


    You will also have the opportunity to collaborate in this role, as it involves working with multiple disciplines, including Design/Engineering, Construction, Environmental, Third Party, Right-of-Way, and Document Control Departments.


    Qualifications & Experience:
    What skills do you need?


    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
    • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
    • Familiarity with relevant software programs, including Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, Bluebeam, and Procore.
    • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects concurrently.

    Required Qualifications:

    • Pursuing a BS in Engineering or a related discipline.

    Preferred Qualifications:

    • Prior internship experience.
