- Select, review, transcribe (for audio passages), and translate short audio target-language passages from authentic sources at the required Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) level.
- Native or near-native proficiency in the language
- Academic and/or professional background in linguistics, second language teaching, assessment, or translation
- Technological capability of searching the Internet, recording, and editing audio files using software, and using Microsoft Office applications
- Experience with content selection for language proficiency development or assessment
- Familiarity with the Interagency Language Roundtable (ILR) language proficiency scale
- Translation experience or familiarity with translation principles

Target Language Experts Nationwide
JTG is currently seeking Target Language Experts in Belarusian, Chechen, Chinese Wu (Shanghai), Chinese Min (Southern), Georgian, Hungarian, Igbo, Maay-Maay, Romanian, Pashtu (Pakistani), and Punjabi (Eastern).
Location: remote
Timeline: approximately 10-15 hours per week over 3-4 weeks
