Description

• Education: Associates Degree of Nursing. Graduate from a college or university accredited by Accreditation Commission for Education in Nursing (ACEN), the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE)
• Experience: RNs must have at least one (1) year full-time experience
• Licensure/Registration: Current, full, active, and unrestricted license to practice as a Registered Nurse
• Certification: Active BLS. May be required to obtain Advanced Cardiac Life Support.

• Perform physical exam and health histories. Will assist with direct patient care when 4N staff is inadequate or patient care needs exceed the expectation of current staffing levels.
• Provide health promotions, counseling, and education. This will include monitoring population's preventive health and placing referrals for recommended screening exams such as colonoscopies, mammograms, and immunizations.
• Recognize adverse signs and symptoms and quickly react in emergency situations. Assist with the transfer of patients to a higher level of care. RN will stabilize patient prior to transfer and ensure that all the appropriate transfer paperwork has been completed in accordance with MTF policy.
