Job Description
Are you a strong retail banking professional ready to step into leadership? This is an excellent opportunity for a high performing CSR 5 or senior personal banker who is ready to grow into a Branch Manager role.
This community bank is looking for a hands on leader who enjoys serving clients, developing team members and driving branch performance. The right candidate will have the opportunity to learn the operational and leadership side of the branch with a clear path toward a future Branch Manager position.
Position Overview
The Assistant Branch Manager / CSR 5 supports the Branch Manager in daily operations, client relationship management and team development. This role balances advanced customer service responsibilities with operational oversight and leadership support.
Key Responsibilities
• Deliver exceptional service to retail and business clients
• Open and maintain consumer and business deposit accounts
• Assist clients with complex account issues and problem resolution
• Support lending activities including referrals, documentation and follow up
• Coach and support frontline staff to ensure service standards are met
• Assist with scheduling, training and daily workflow management
• Help oversee branch operations including cash controls, audits and compliance
• Support business development efforts within the local community
• Step in for the Branch Manager when needed

- Consumer and Business account experience
- Strong knowledge of retail banking operations and deposit products
- Leadership potential with the desire to grow into a Branch Manager role
- Proven ability to build client relationships and generate referrals
- Detail oriented with strong compliance awareness
- Professional presence and strong communication skills
